WEB / GRAPHIC DESIGN

Art Department – CD

Programs: Carrara 3D, Vegas Vedio, After Effects, Photoshop

Problem: For a 3D animation class project, I was assigned to create a 30-60 second animation that told a story. The clip would need a beginning, middle, and end; I could also use personification as a storytelling element.

Concept: Given the short time to tell a story I decided to present half of the story within the opening credits by using typographic motion graphics. I also decided that instead of modeling a person I would focus on a flyswatter and use the sound effects to convey emotion.

Placed first for Motion Graphics in the RoboErotic Multimedia Design Exhibition at UW-Stout.
